Part-Time Dental Receptionist (Maternity Leave Position)

Point McKay Dental is looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our team for a part-time, one-year maternity leave position, starting November 9, 2026! We are a family-owned practice that prides itself on exceptional patient care, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment for both our patients and staff.

Part-Time Schedule:

Monday: 1:00-8:00PM

Tuesday: 1:00-8:00PM

Wednesday: 7:00AM-3:00PM

Thursday: Optional additional hours

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check in patients in a warm, qualified manner
- Answer phones and coordinate appointment scheduling
- Process payments, insurance claims, and pre-authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support the clinical team with administrative tasks
- Follow up on accounts receivable when required

Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year dental reception experience required




- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Akitu One or other cloud-based dental software is an asset
- Knowledge of dental insurance
