Hello We live north west central Calgary, Alberta and are in search of a compassionate and dedicated caregiver. This is a live out, part time position focused on delivering quality home care to one sweet full care male quadriplegic, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1 - 9pm for tub baths, laundry and housekeeping plus Thursday and Saturday 1 - 5pm for cleaning and restocking. Responsibilities include:AfternoonsLaundry, Medication trays, medical equipment cleaning, sanitizing, bed making, g-tube feeding and medication delivery, tv management, oxygen management, suction.Bath- g-tube feeding and medication delivery- suction,



assist with postural drainage- oxygen management- undressing- condom catheter management- experience transferring using a ceiling lift and sling- thorough relaxed bathing- detailed skin care for contractures- thorough bathroom cleaning- towel launderingCleaning ThursdaysRestocking SaturdaysYou are willing to adjust your methods for clients special care needs. You have the ability to work well with and without supervision.We're looking for someone who is attentive, detail oriented. reliable, honest, with a warm personality. Being able to communicate effectively in English is a must.The pay is $23 per hour and increases to $24 once you can work unsupervised. If you have 2 years plus in Canadian home care and previous nursing or related disability care, we would love to hear from you.
