Lead community growth as the Director of Development Services for the Township of Esquimalt. This role seeks a dynamic leader to guide planning and development initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will shape community growth through impactful development projects and long-term planning.

With a minimum of 7 years in senior development management, you will influence housing, land use, and environmental policies while fostering community engagement. Your leadership will help bring council priorities to life in a welcoming and team-oriented setting. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee transformative development projects for the community
- Guide long-term housing and land use planning initiatives




- Facilitate community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Advise on complex planning matters with political acumen
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and community needs Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Planning or related field
- 7+ years of municipal development management experience
- Class 5 BC driver’s license required
- Eligible for membership in Canadian Institute of Planners
