Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while adhering to hygiene standards.

Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food handling environments is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. This position offers an prospect to develop kitchen skills and gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by ensuring all dishware and tools are available for use
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times




- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to ensure a clean working environment
- Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables when required
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling practices is desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary

Pay: $18.00 per hour
