Duties

- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices
- Support the serving staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during busy service hours
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen environment safe and eco-friendly




- Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the restaurant or hotel kitchen

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
