Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils, supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations. This role is essential for maintaining a hygienic and organized kitchen, enabling seamless food preparation and service.

Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist in organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access during food preparation and service
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation standards
- Help with light food preparation or service tasks when required during busy periods




- Monitor dishwashing machines for proper operation and report any malfunctions promptly

Skills

- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining quality standards
- Good organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
