About us

Every job we do helps someone through a big change: a family settling an estate, a homeowner downsizing, a hotel refreshing its rooms, or a customer waiting for a delivery from our store. We're a local, family-owned business in Mill Bay, and we're looking for a dependable driver to handle deliveries and removals and help us do that work well.

Why you'll like working here

- Local and family-owned. We're a small team that puts families and our community first.
- Rewarding work. You'll help people at important moments, and many of the items we remove find a second life through our store and auctions.
- 20% employee discount at our Mill Bay retail store.
- Room to grow. Our business is growing, and so can your role.
- Variety. No two days are the same: homes, estates, hotels and businesses across South Vancouver Island.

What you'll do
- Drive our trucks, including a 5-ton when needed. Experience is an asset; training is available for the right person.
- Deliver furniture,

appliances and other purchases from our store to customers' homes and businesses.
- Help with residential, estate and hotel removal jobs: loading, unloading, carrying and protecting furniture, mattresses, appliances and household contents.
- Treat clients, their homes and their belongings with care and respect.
- Keep the trucks, tools and equipment tidy and secure.
- Help out at our store and warehouse when needed.

What you'll need
- A full BC driver's licence (not a learner or N licence). This is required.
- A clean driver's abstract.
- A clear criminal record check (required before hiring).
- Able to lift and carry heavy items safely, work on your feet for a full day, and handle stairs.
- Reliable and on time, with a good attitude and a team-first approach.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- Moving, delivery or truck-driving experience is an asset, not a requirement.
