We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing Montessori environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education/Montessori and a genuine interest in fostering a positive learning experience for children of diverse needs, including those with disabilities.

Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through engaging interactions
- Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest periods
- Provide caregiving support, including helping with diapering, feeding, and personal hygiene as needed
- Foster an inclusive environment by working with children with disabilities or special needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents,
and team members to ensure a positive educational experience
- Support classroom management strategies to promote respectful behavior and cooperation
Qualifications
- Diploma or experience working with children preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Knowledge of early childhood education/Montessori principles and caregiving techniques
- Strong communication skills and patience when working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and supporting early childhood development
- Certification in CPR/First Aid, Vulnerable Sector check, Medical all up to date
