Position Summary

Primary role is to operate a straight truck transporting a variety of goods and materials. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading cargo, securing loads for transportation, and planning efficient delivery routes.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

What you will do

- Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon delivery of goods.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
- Exhibit reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors.
- Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, secure and professional manner.

What You’ll Bring

- G Class License is required.




- 6 months of experience operating a straight truck.
- Comfortable with smartphone technology.
- Must be willing to load/unload and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations.
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
