Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, consistency, and creativity, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to support effective meal service
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies, monitoring freshness and inventory levels regularly
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal timing and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all stages of food service and handling




- Support the training of recent kitchen staff by sharing best practices and operational procedures

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar food service role within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles in a hospitality environment
- Kitchen experience with proficiency in using various cooking equipment and tools
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Food industry certifications or training related to food safety are preferred but not mandatory
