We're not your typical coffee shop, and we're not looking for your typical barista.

Rise is an independently owned scratch bakery and café where great coffee, incredible food, and a genuine love of creating things from scratch all come together.

We're looking for an experienced barista who is equally comfortable behind the espresso machine and lending a hand in the kitchen.

You'll need strong, hands-on barista experience, confidence with espresso-based drinks and milk steaming, and solid kitchen skills. That means being comfortable with food preparation, knife work, ingredient handling, and completing tasks efficiently and with care.

At Rise, we work as a team. We bake, cook, create, learn, and help one another wherever we're needed. Nobody is limited to one station, and everyone contributes to making the day run smoothly.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs doing, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys being part of a hardworking, creative team.

What we're looking for:





- Previous skilled barista experience is required.
- Strong espresso preparation and milk-steaming skills.
- Confidence and experience with kitchen and food preparation tasks.
- The ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, natural initiative, and a genuine love of good food and coffee.

Rise is open Monday through Friday, 7am to 2pm We love the hustle and bustle of the morning crowd, the smell of fresh baking, and the energy of a busy café. And the best part? Our days wrap up early, with evenings and weekends all to yourself.

Starting wage: $18/hour, plus weekly tip-outs.
