Rise is an independently owned scratch bakery and café with a small, hardworking, creative kitchen team. We make our food in-house, work with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and love bringing current ideas to the table.

We're looking for an experienced cook with a strong foundation in professional kitchen skills who loves food as much as we do.

This isn't a traditional restaurant kitchen. We work in smaller batches, create changing weekly menus, and encourage our team to contribute, experiment, and learn from one another.

But while our kitchen may be a little more relaxed and creative, strong kitchen fundamentals are essential.

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience working in a professional restaurant, bakery, or commercial kitchen is required.
- Confident knife skills, food preparation, and ingredient handling.
- A solid understanding of food safety, organization, and efficient kitchen workflow.
- The ability to follow recipes, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
- Someone who takes initiative, works with care,



and genuinely enjoys cooking from scratch.

We're a morning kind of place! Rise is open Monday through Friday, 7am to 2pm We love the hustle and bustle of the morning crowd, the smell of fresh baking, and the energy of a busy café. And the best part? Our days wrap up early, with evenings and weekends all to yourself.

Starting wage: $18/hour, plus weekly tip-outs.
