Key Responsibilities

- Install steel stud framing, including walls, bulkheads, and suspended ceiling systems.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and layouts.
- Perform accurate framing layouts using lasers and measuring equipment.
- Install drywall on walls and ceilings in commercial and residential projects.
- Install insulation, vapour barriers, resilient channels, and other interior systems.
- Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Work independently or as part of a crew to meet project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in steel stud framing, drywall installation, or commercial interior systems.




- Ability to read construction drawings and understand layouts is an asset.
- Experience using power tools, lasers, and construction equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- Ability to travel to different jobsites throughout HRM.
- Valid safety certifications are an asset.
