Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced trial lawyer specializing in civil matters to join our agile legal team. In this role, you will lead complex civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, leveraging your expertise to advocate effectively for clients. Responsibilities

- Manage all phases of civil litigation cases, including case strategy development, discovery, motions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- LAT Hearings
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case arguments and stay current on relevant laws and precedents.
- Draft clear, persuasive legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements that meet high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable resolutions while maintaining client interests.
- Present compelling arguments in court during hearings and trials, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.




- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide strategic legal advice tailored to their needs.
- Maintain meticulous case records and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements throughout the litigation process.

Experience

- Proven track record as a trial lawyer with extensive experience handling civil litigation cases from start to finish.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research and analysis using platforms such as LexisNexis.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of successfully resolving disputes outside of court when appropriate.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting precise legal documents and persuasive courtroom presentations.
- Proficiency in legal drafting techniques and familiarity with courtroom procedures and rules of evidence.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple cases efficiently.
- Prior experience in civil matters such as contractual disputes, personal injury claims, property law, or tort litigation is highly desirable.
