Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, along with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation standards. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and specials




- Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods using excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing payments accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience through friendly service
