Aylmer Ultramar / Delk Fuels is looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our food service team at Mr.Sub and Pizza Pizza.

We're seeking motivated team members who enjoy working with people, preparing quality food, and providing excellent customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment.

As a Food Service Team Member, you will be involved in food preparation, customer service, cleaning, and daily restaurant operations. Successful applicants must be comfortable learning and performing duties across both Mr.Sub and Pizza Pizza.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

- Prepare sandwiches, subs, pizzas, and other menu items according to brand recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
- Follow portion control, food handling, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain proper food temperatures, storage procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Prepare ingredients and replenish food preparation stations throughout each shift.
- Follow established procedures for operating food preparation equipment safely.

Customer Service

- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
- Handle customer concerns politely and professionally.




- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Cleaning & Daily Operations

- Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, utensils, and customer areas.
- Wash dishes and complete routine cleaning duties.
- Stock ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies.
- Monitor product freshness, expiry dates, and inventory levels.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists.
- Follow all company policies, brand standards, and applicable food safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

- Friendly and positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods.
- Solid attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks.
- Willingness to work in both Mr.Sub and Pizza Pizza operations.

The following are considered assets:

- Previous restaurant, fast-food, or food service experience.
- Valid Smart Serve certification.
- Food Handler certification.
- Previous cash-handling or POS experience.
- Experience with food preparation, kitchen equipment, or inventory management.

Previous experience is an asset but not required.



We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Scheduling & Availability

This is a PART-TIME position requiring flexible availability seven days a week.

Applicants must be available for scheduling throughout the week, including:

- Weekdays
- Evenings
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Employees will not be expected to work seven days per week. However, applicants must have the flexibility to work shifts on any day of the week based on operational requirements. Please apply only if you can meet these availability expectations.
