Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious individuals with hands-on experience operating propane forklifts with clamp attachments to safely handle large, bulky, and oversized products.

We have opportunities in two specialized warehouse environments:

Pulp & Paper Warehouse

- Clamp truck experience handling pulp and paper products required.
- Experience loading or unloading railcars considered an asset.

Lumber Warehouse

- Clamp attachment experience required.
- Previous experience handling lumber products required.
- Shipping and receiving paperwork experience considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate propane-powered forklifts with clamp attachments.
- Load, unload, transport, stack, and organize bulky or oversized products.
- Handle pulp, paper, lumber, and other large warehouse materials safely.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and railcars as required.
- Perform order picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment defects or safety concerns.
- Verify shipment quantities, product accuracy, and shipping documentation.
- Complete receiving and shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and pick tickets.




- Prevent product damage through proper clamp pressure, load stability, and safe material handling.
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and follow warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

- Previous hands-on experience operating propane forklifts with clamp attachments.
- Experience safely handling large, bulky, heavy, or oversized products.
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and equipment inspections.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, repetitive movements, and physically demanding warehouse tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and accurate inventory handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- For the lumber warehouse: Previous lumber handling and clamp attachment experience is mandatory.
- For the pulp and paper warehouse: Previous clamp attachment experience is mandatory.

Preferred:

- 2+ years operating a forklift with clamp attachment.
- 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
- Experience loading or unloading railcars, particularly for the pulp and paper warehouse.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience preparing shipping and receiving paperwork.




- Previous 3PL logistics or distribution centre experience.

Schedule & Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Full-time, permanent employment.
- Overtime, weekends, and statutory holidays may occasionally be required.
- Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Physical duties include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and operating material handling equipment.
- Occasional outdoor work may involve snow, rain, cold, heat, icy conditions, or uneven terrain. Limited travel may be required.
