Overview one of our client which is Fruit and Produce Company Inc. is seeking an experienced and hands-on Front Door Supervisor to oversee order processing operations at the Ontario Food Terminal (OFT).

The successful candidate will supervise order processing staff and ensure the smooth and timely execution of order picking, packing, loading, and customer order processing activities. This role requires solid knowledge of the produce industry, team management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced wholesale produce environment.

Responsibilities

- · Supervise and coordinate daily order processing, picking, packing, and loading activities.
- · Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
- · Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and maintain productivity.
- · Coordinate with sales, warehouse, receiving, and management teams to resolve operational issues.
- · Maintain product quality, order accuracy, and proper handling of fresh produce.
- · Ensure employees follow workplace safety procedures and operational policies.




- · Address customer and order-related issues promptly and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Train, guide, and support team members to maintain consistent operational standards

Requirements

- · Required: Experience in the produce industry, preferably in wholesale produce distribution or a similar quick-paced environment.
- · Required: Previous team supervision or team management experience.
- · Solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- · Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities during early-morning operations.
- · Ability to coordinate effectively with employees and other departments.
- · Asset: Valid forklift licence and relevant operating experience.
- · Availability to work the scheduled Monday–Friday and Sunday shift.
