About the Role

Site Overview

Our client sites provide secure, welcoming environments for staff, visitors, and the public. As a key safety representative on site, you will play an active role in maintaining secure premises, assisting visitors, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly and safely.

What You'll Be Doing

- Patrol the site by foot or vehicle to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
- Enforce site rules, manage access points, and de-escalate challenging situations professionally.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, intoxication, or aggressive behavior.
- Provide clear assistance and customer service to site visitors and the public.
- Communicate effectively via two-way radio and complete detailed incident and daily activity reports.

Requirements

- Hold a valid Manitoba Security Guard License
- At least 19 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a CSA-approved provider.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Comfortable with physical requirements, including standing, walking, and sitting for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training prior to onboarding.
