Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced, and energetic Full-Time Crew Member to join our team at Gillz Sweet Factory inside the Milton Chalo FreshCo. In this role, you will be the face of our counter—welcoming guests, taking orders for authentic North Indian sweets and savory snacks, handling payments, and prepping popular items like our chaat, samosas, and traditional treats.If you thrive in a busy retail environment, love providing warm customer service, and enjoy handling authentic Indian food, we want to hear from you!

Core Responsibilities

Customer Service & POS Operation: Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders using the cash register/POS system, handle cash and digital transactions quickly, and package delicate sweets neatly. Food Prep & Chaat Assembly: Follow quick-service recipes to assemble savory snacks (such as samosa chaat and paneer pakoras) quickly while maintaining presentation and food safety standards.

Display & Counter Maintenance: Restock pastry cases with fresh mithai, ensure the chaat station is fully prepared, and keep the counter and prep areas meticulously clean and sanitized. Fast-Paced Efficiency: Communicate clearly with teammates to manage ordering lines smoothly and keep wait times low during peak afternoon, weekend,



and festive rush periods.Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in quick-service food prep, kitchen handling, or retail cash management is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important.

Language Skills: Advanced spoken proficiency in Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi is required for this role to effectively take rapid-paced orders, explain sweet options, and provide welcoming service to our local South Asian client base.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work efficiently in a high-traffic grocery store setting, and handle light lifting. Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including flexible shifts (days, evenings, and weekend hours).
