Our technicians travel to customer yards throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, servicing commercial fleets from Richmond to Chilliwack. Working from a pickup truck and flat-deck trailer equipped with professional pressure washing equipment, you'll be responsible for cleaning commercial vehicles and keeping accurate digital records of completed work.
Our operation runs seven days a week, so weekend availability is required. You should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, working independently, and taking pride in doing the job right.
What You'll Do
- Drive a company pickup and trailer to customer locations.
- Inspect vehicles and perform mobile pressure washing on a variety of commercial equipment.
- Record completed work and maintain accurate digital unit records.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and quality standards.
- Keep equipment organized and report maintenance issues.
Opportunities to Advance We believe in developing our people from within. As you gain experience, you may have opportunities to learn additional responsibilities, including wash quality auditing, equipment repairs, bucket truck operation, and commercial wash chemical applications.
Lightning Wash and Detail is one of BC's largest fleet washing operations by volume.
Our work covers everything from pickup trucks and transport trailers to dump trucks and rail equipment. We use qualified-grade equipment, specialized cleaning products, and proven techniques to deliver consistent results for our customers.
What We're Looking For
- A reliable, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfort operating pickup trucks and towing flat-deck trailers.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Availability for weekend shifts and outdoor work in changing weather.
- A valid driver's licence and a satisfactory driver's abstract before hiring.
No pressure washing experience is necessary. We provide training, so a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are more important than previous industry experience. If you're looking for steady work with a growing company and the opportunity to build practical skills, we'd like to hear from you.
