Grill Cook

JMB Foodstyle Co. Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Grill Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to an efficient kitchen operation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to recipes and company standards.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet established requirements.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, marinating, and stocking stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service during peak periods.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.




- Follow company policies regarding food handling, portion control, and customer service.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or Kitchen Team Member preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule:

- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekends as required

Work Location: In-person Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
