We are seeking a dedicated, energetic Guest Services Representative to join our team at Quality Inn and Suites. In this role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations. Your contributions will enhance our guests' experiences while maintaining the hotel's operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist guests with information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
- Handle phone calls promptly with proper phone etiquette, addressing guest needs or concerns.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a strong, confident, and professional personality, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Possesses excellent judgment, situational awareness, and conflict-resolution skills when dealing with guests and members of the public.
- Must be comfortable working independently and making sound decisions while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
- Must be confident working alone during overnight shifts,
with the ability to respond appropriately to unexpected situations, enforce hotel policies, and follow established safety and security procedures.
- Demonstrates assertiveness, professionalism, and the ability to maintain control of situations while providing excellent customer service.
- Previous hotel front desk experience and knowledge of front desk operations are considered assets.Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- **Must be available for all shifts and steady weekends.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
