We are seeking a friendly, organized, and bilingual (Korean/English) Hair Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, supporting stylists, and ensuring the salon operates smoothly. Duties

- Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out at the front desk
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon to ensure a safe environment
- Support stylists by preparing workstations, washing hair, and assisting with styling tools as needed
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and client follow-ups to ensure smooth daily operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with retail sales by organizing product displays and recommending items based on client needs
- Translate between stylist and clients




- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining client records and processing payments

Requirements

- Fluent in both Korean and English, spoken and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment
- Retail sales experience or interest in upselling products is desirable
- Prior experience working at a front desk or in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
- Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing the salon brand

This position provides an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in the beauty industry while contributing to a welcoming salon atmosphere. Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
