GH Renovations Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to support various renovation and maintenance projects across apartment buildings and multi-unit residential properties throughout the GTA.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general construction tasks, including installations, repairs, and finishing work. This role requires working independently across multiple job sites, completing work orders efficiently, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
- Install interior doors, hardware and trim
- Perform interior drywall repairs, painting and touch-ups
- Install tile and vinyl flooring
- Assist with general repairs, light construction tasks and demolition
- Load, deliver, and transport materials to job sites
- Operate company or personal vehicle for job-related tasks
- Follow work orders and complete tasks within assigned timelines
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Communicate progress and report any issues as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction,
handyman work, or building maintenance
- Proven experience with door installation, painting, tile, and vinyl flooring
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and work orders
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work independently across multiple job sites and manage workload
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English to coordinate with team and management
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and construction standards
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive between job sites
