Ontario Shipyards Inc. in Hamilton seeks a Mechanical Fitter (Tail-End) to disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble shipboard mechanical components, including tail shafts, propellers, rudders and valves, aligning with engineering specifications.
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will read blueprints, fit parts precisely, perform hydrostatic tests and contribute to ongoing ship repair projects across our Hamilton and St. Catharines yards.
