Position Title:

Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Coordinator

Location:

St. John’s Office

Reports to:

HSEQ Advisor and/or President

Scope of Position:

The HSEQ Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of EPCO’s HSEQ Management System. The role ensures compliance with provincial and federal legislation, company policies, client’s requirements, and applicable ISO standards. Together with any other inter-office administrative duties as required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

· Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 auditing or implementation experience is an asset.

Experience:

· 3-5 years of experience in an HSEQ, HSE or Quality role.

· Experience in offshore, marine, construction, industrial, or energy sectors is preferred.

· Experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments.

· Familiarity with NL OHS legislation is an asset.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Knowledge of risk management principles.

· High attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· Strong report writing and documentation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

· Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the Company.

· Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.

· Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

· Prepare HSEQ reports, statistics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Participate in project planning meetings.

· Develop/ review HSEQ plans and risk assessments as needed.

Pay: $52,700.00-$119,000.00 per year
