Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of large-scale commercial spaces, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help keep our facilities in top condition, supporting the overall operations and safety of the premises.

Responsibilities

- Execute comprehensive cleaning tasks using heavy-duty cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain cleanliness standards in large commercial areas.
- Perform deep cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and fixtures to remove dirt, grime, and buildup.
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance activities such as replacing light bulbs, repairing minor damages, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning and maintenance tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize high-traffic or heavily soiled areas for immediate attention.
- Maintain detailed records of completed tasks, supplies used, and any issues encountered during shifts.




- Assist with special cleaning projects or emergency cleanups as needed to support facility operations.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to heavy-duty cleaning.
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuum systems efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care or repair.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding cleaning tasks over extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures related to facility upkeep is a plus.
