Position Title: Housekeeper

Wage: $18.50 - $19.00/ hour

Hours: (typically) 5 hrs/ day.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

· Maintain all entrances interior and exterior to company standard

· Removal of linen from guestrooms and deposit in approved location

· Removal and sorting of recycling from the guestrooms as well as depositing waste according to company standards and safe handling procedure

· Light maintenance duties

· Dust all surfaces high and low

· Properly vacuum complete carpet area

· Assist laundry as required

· Replenish and stock housekeeping linen rooms

· Assist co-workers when required

· Proper stocking and maintaining of your cart at all times

· Any maintenance problems to be reported immediately

· Report any unusual activity in your area to Front Desk immediately





· Any items left by guest must be turned into Lost and Found immediately

· Cleaning of public areas

· Always conscientious of Health and Safety when performing duties

· Performs extra duties from time to time when need arises and all other duties assigned

· Responsible for issued key & assignment

Qualifications

· High school diploma/GED required

· 1-2 years’ experience as a Housekeeper in the hospitality industry is preferred

· Must be versatile to work any shift

· Previous cleaning experience an asset

· Must be polite & courteous

· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

· Must be able to work as a team or independently

· Must be reliable
