We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction within our hotel or hospitality environment. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a background in cleaning and custodial services.
The Housekeeping
Supervisor will coordinate staff schedules, monitor cleaning procedures, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and high performance
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance
- Develop work schedules for housekeeping team members based on occupancy levels and operational needs
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly to uphold excellent customer service standards
- Enforce safety protocols related to industrial cleaning practices and custodial procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and guest experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial services, or hospitality environments with a focus on supervision or team leadership
- Strong knowledge of hotel or industrial cleaning standards and procedures
- Experience in hospitality or hotel management is highly desirable
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work setting
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
- Prior supervisory experience in hospitality or custodial roles is preferred
Pay: $18.40-$20.00 per hour
