Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Independent Travel Consultant / Agent to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your passion for travel and exceptional service skills to assist clients in planning memorable vacations. As an independent agent, you will primarily work remotely, providing personalized travel solutions, booking accommodations, and ensuring client satisfaction. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to grow within the travel and hospitality industry. We are an industry leading, bricks and mortar travel agency within the Expedia Group, offering clients a full-service experience combined with industry leading technology, pricing and an omni-channel digital experience.

Compensation is fully commission-based. As an independent consultant, you determine your own hours of work. Commission is commensurate with effort and sales results. An industry leading on-line training program is provided along with local office support. Applicant should have centre of influence in Niagara Region.

Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budgets
- Design customized travel itineraries including cruise, flights, hotels, tours, and transportation
- Book reservations and tickets through various suppliers and platforms




- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel requirements, and best practices
- Follow up with clients post-travel to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends, new destinations, and supplier offerings
- Promote travel packages and special deals to clients to enhance their experience

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred
- Strong knowledge of cruise travel, all-inclusive packages, hotels, airlines, and travel industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Passion for travel and helping others create memorable experiences
- Familiarity with booking platforms and reservation systems is a plus
- Self-motivated with robust organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must achieve TICO Certification prior to, or shortly after applying
- previous travel sales experience is NOT required
