We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the heavy-duty cleaning and sanitization of employee common areas, washrooms, lunchrooms, and production floor surfaces. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, experiences with industrial cleaning chemicals, and a sharp eye for detail.

This position will include other duties as assigned such as production or machine operation.

Day Shift (7am - 330pm)

Key Responsibilities

Washrooms & Toilets

- Sanitize and scrub all toilets, urinals, and sinks using industrial-grade disinfectants.
- Refill all dispensers including hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer.
- Clean and polish mirrors, chrome fixtures, and wall tiles.
- Empty and sanitize waste receptacles and sanitary napkin bins.

Lunchrooms & Break Areas
- Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces including tables, countertops, chairs, and vending machines.
- Clean appliances exterior and interior surfaces, including microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee stations.
- Wash and sanitize sinks and backsplash areas.

Surface & Floor Maintenance
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors in lunchrooms, washrooms, hallways, and designated facility areas.
- Dust and wipe all horizontal surfaces, windowsills,



ledges, and baseboards.
- Disinfect high-touch points such as doorknobs, light switches, railings, and handles throughout the shift.

Waste Management & Safety
- Collect and dispose of all trash, recycling, and industrial debris into outdoor dumpsters.
- Replace trash liners and clean any spills inside or around waste bins.
- Follow safety protocols by placing "Wet Floor" signs and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as an industrial cleaner, janitor, or custodian preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 40 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of a shift.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with standard cleaning chemicals, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), and sanitation best practices.
- Reliability: Strong punctuality, time-management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour
