Responsibilities:
Respond to machine breakdowns and emergency repair calls to maximize equipment uptimePerform corrective and preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systemsPerform welding and fabrication as requiredMaintain plant plumbing, including repairs to steam and water leaksSupport maintenance of lift truck batteries and chargersAssist with parts inventory and identify required replacement componentsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modificationsCoordinate with contractors and other trades as requiredMaintain a clean, organized,



and safe work environmentComplete maintenance activities in accordance with plant safety and quality standardsMillwright

Qualifications:
Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) licence with apprenticeship3–5 years of Millwright experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with preventative and corrective maintenanceWelding and fabrication capabilitiesAbility to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdownsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work a versatile night schedule covering the required 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. core hoursThis posting is for a position that is currently vacant within one of our client organizations.
