The Integrated Pest Management

Technician will play a vital role in delivering pest management throughout the municipality. This position requires strong knowledge in pest control methods and a commitment to public service. Candidates must have three years of relevant experience, including field research capabilities to effectively implement pest strategies. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement pest management programs at designated locations
- Advise staff on acceptable pest damage threshold levels




- Inform Bylaw Services for weed control notices
- Write reports and prepare permit applications
- Assist in field sampling and pest identification Requirements:
- Diploma in Environmental Studies or related field
- Three years of Integrated Pest Management experience
- Alberta Pesticide Applicators Certificate
- Knowledge of Natural Resources enforcement
