We're looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our Projects Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, can confidently run jobs, and has the leadership skills to guide apprentices and other team members.

The Role

As a Journeyman Plumber, you'll be responsible for completing and leading commercial plumbing and mechanical projects. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, solutions-focused, and comfortable working independently without constant supervision.

You'll work closely with our Project Managers to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute commercial plumbing and mechanical installations from start to finish.
- Independently manage day-to-day activities on assigned job sites.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Supervise, train, and mentor apprentices, ensuring they develop their skills and maintain quality workmanship.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding job progress, material requirements, scheduling, and potential issues.
- Identify problems, troubleshoot,



and develop practical solutions in the field.
- Coordinate effectively with other trades, site supervisors, and customers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Take ownership of job quality, productivity, and successful project completion.

What We're Looking For
- Red Seal Journeyman Plumber certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Journeyman, preferably in commercial or institutional construction.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead projects or small crews.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and mechanical installations.
- Ability to read drawings, plan work, and coordinate installations.
- Experience supervising and mentoring apprentices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Valid BC driver's licence.
