Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 309A Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation and upgrades, utilizing your extensive electrical knowledge and hands-on skills to make a tangible impact.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Work with industrial electrical components such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks in construction, renovation, or maintenance projects.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving schematics reading,



system upgrades, or new installations.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification or license recognized in your jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid background in construction or renovation projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical schematics.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for industrial environments.
- Additional handyman experience or general construction skills are considered a plus.
