Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Cook/Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service in the food service and hospitality industry. As a Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our team operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

As lead cook you are also expected to coordinate and lead our food service line during operational hours.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling protocols.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage inventory levels, and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining space.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety practices.
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating staff and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest experiences.

Experience

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is essential; roles such as cook or chef are advantageous.
- Previous experience with food ordering,



& staff scheduling preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both staff and customers professionally.
- A background in hospitality is preferred, with an understanding of the dynamics of a busy service environment.
