The Lead Hand works alongside the Foreman day to day, taking on more responsibility over time as they train toward a Foreman role.

- Support the Foreman in coordinating the crew of electrostatic painters on commercial and industrial job sites, and step in as acting lead when the Foreman is off-site

- Operate and maintain electrostatic spray equipment

- Prepare surfaces — masking, cleaning, priming — to spec

- Apply epoxy and urethane coatings to metal fixtures, furniture, and surfaces to a factory-quality finish

- Inspect completed work for quality and durability, consistent with our 2-year coating guarantee

- Train and mentor junior painters on technique and safety

- Coordinate scheduling and materials with the office and project lead

- Keep the job site clean and protected, following WorkSafeBC and site-specific protocols

- Communicate with site contacts and property managers to minimize disruption to their business

Pay: $19.66-$40.61 per hour
