Lead Handyman Technician

Vancouver, BC | Full-Time | Permanent | $45–$50 per hour base compensation, plus commission opportunities, performance bonus and vehicle allowance.

We are a premium handyman repair and maintenance service serving Vancouver homeowners and property clients who expect meticulous workmanship, clear communication, reliability, and full accountability.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Handyman Technician who takes genuine pride in doing things properly. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for a skilled tradesperson who can assess a problem, recommend a practical solution, complete the work to a high standard, communicate clearly with the client, and take full ownership from arrival through final cleanup.

This is not a volume or “good enough” handyman position. Our reputation is built on craftsmanship, professionalism, punctuality, cleanliness, and doing the job right the first time.

What you’ll do

- Complete a wide range of residential repair, maintenance and improvement work.
- Diagnose problems and determine the best practical repair approach.
- Perform high-quality carpentry, drywall repair, painting, caulking, trim, doors, hardware, fixtures, patching, finishing and general home repairs.
- Work independently while managing your time, materials and job priorities.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers and other clients.
- Explain repair options, scope and recommendations clearly before work proceeds.
- Protect the client's home and leave each work area clean, orderly and finished to a premium standard.




- Document completed work, materials and relevant job details.
- Identify additional maintenance or repair needs when appropriate and communicate them professionally.
- Follow safe work practices and operate within your training, qualifications and legal scope.
- Help maintain consistent workmanship and service standards across the company.

What we’re looking for

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling, carpentry, handyman work or professional home maintenance.
- Strong practical knowledge across multiple areas of residential repair and maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in finish quality.
- Able to troubleshoot problems and work out solutions without constant supervision.
- Comfortable working directly with homeowners in occupied homes.
- Clear, respectful and professional communication.
- Reliable, punctual and accountable for the complete customer experience.
- Clean, organized and respectful of clients' property.
- Able to manage a full day of service work while maintaining quality.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation, if required for the service area.
- Professional tools appropriate for residential repair work, if required.
