ULT Powertrain is seeking a hands-on Lead Hydraulic Technician to join our Mississauga facility. You’ll install, test, and troubleshoot truck-mounted hydraulic and power take-off (PTO) systems while helping the technicians to complete the work.

Your responsibilities

- Install truck-mounted hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hydraulic plumbing circuits, according to specifications.
- Install in-cab switches, dash indicators, solenoids, and electronic control modules (ECMs) for system engagement and disengagement.
- Measure, cut, bend, flare, and crimp high-pressure hydraulic hoses and rigid metal tubing.
- Conduct pressure and leak tests, calibrate flow controls, verify proper RPM engagement,



and complete system start-up checks.
- Diagnose unusual noise, seal leaks, pressure drops, and electrical faults in existing PTO and mobile hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop or field and coordinate corrective action.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of hydraulic and mechanical technicians.

What you’ll bring

- Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting truck-mounted hydraulic and PTO systems.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, tubing, and related electrical controls.
- Ability to follow installation specifications and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
- Experience testing hydraulic systems and verifying system performance.
- Ability to coordinate daily work and provide practical guidance to other technicians.

An asset: Experience with hydraulic coolers, dry bulk blowers, and product pumps. Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
