The Role
This is an independent subcontractor role, not an employee position. You will run residential service and repair jobs dispatched to you.
Brand standards apply on every job: shoe covers and drop mats on every visit; a short job video ("Instant Replay") recorded as part of the job; clean, professional presentation in customers' homes.
Customers you serve through our brand, No side deals, and no taking customers private.
Skills We Need (you do NOT need every one — the screening questions below are how we match you to the right jobs)
Emergency plumbing repair (non-gas) · Drain cleaning/snaking · Toilet repair & installation · Faucet repair & installation · Sink installation · Garbage disposal installation & repair · Fixture installation (showers, tubs, bidets) · Pipe repair (copper, PEX, PVC) · Whole-home repiping · Leak detection & repair · Shut-off valve replacement · Outdoor hose bib repair/replacement · Sump pump repair/replacement/installation · Backwater valve installation · Basement bathroom/laundry rough-in · Electric water heater repair & installation · Tank water heater flush & maintenance · Mixing/tempering valve work · Main sewer line cleaning · Drain camera inspection · Hydro jetting · Sewer backup response · Root intrusion removal · Floor drain cleaning · Catch basin/exterior drain cleaning
Requirements
- Ontario 306A journeyman plumber licence. Final-year apprentices nearing their Certificate of Qualification may also apply.
- Your own reliable vehicle and your own tools.
- $2M commercial general liability insurance in place before your first dispatch.
- WSIB clearance in place before your first dispatch.
- A smartphone, for the dispatch app, customer ETAs, and job updates.
Communication Skills — Just as Important as Technical Skill Homeowners are letting you into their homes, often on a stressful day. We screen for communication as carefully as plumbing skill. We need plumbers who can: speak clear, confident English with customers; explain repairs and costs in plain language — no jargon, no pressure; stay calm and skilled with upset customers; call or text customers about ETAs and keep dispatch updated; ask customers for a Google review after a good job, comfortably and naturally.
Pay
Pay is per job, based on our flat-rate pricing system. Details are discussed on the screening call, once we have reviewed your application.
How to Apply
Copy and Paste every question and your Answers and message me.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. For each skill, answer honestly: "Can do independently," "With support," or "Cannot do." "With support" or "cannot do" on an item will not disqualify you.
