Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow proper food safety procedures at all times to prevent contamination
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or servers as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Prior experience in serving or food service enhances ability to coordinate with front-of-house staff

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
