K&H; Hydraulics is looking for a skilled and dependable Manual Lathe Operator / Machinist to join our team. We specialize in hydraulic repairs, cylinder rebuilding, machining, and industrial equipment repairs.
We are looking for someone with hands-on manual lathe experience. Welding experience is also an asset, as our work can include a variety of machining, fabrication, and repair projects.
We are open to both part-time and full-time arrangements for the right candidate.
pay is based on experience
Responsibilities
- Operate a manual lathe for machining and repair work.
- Machine and repair hydraulic components, shafts, rods, and other parts.
- Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required, depending on experience.
- Assist with general shop operations and hydraulic equipment repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized,
and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a manual lathe is required.
- Welding experience is preferred.
- Solid measuring skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Hydraulic or industrial repair experience is an asset.
