Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic or apprentice to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions




- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe for all personnel

Requirements

- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience using power tools for repair and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Good communication skills for documenting work performed and collaborating with team members
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
