Media Volunteer: Videographer and Content Creator

Auriga Football Club is a growing youth soccer academy serving families across Mississauga and Brampton, with programs for players aged 4 to 13. We’re building a content program that tells the real story of our players, coaches and community, and we want a media student who wants real world experience building a brand from the ground up.

This isn’t just “show up and film.” You’ll help shape how a local sports brand shows up online.

What you’ll do

- Shoot training sessions, games and community events across our locations
- Edit short vertical videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok: highlights, player spotlights, coach tips and behind the scenes
- Help build a monthly content calendar and pitch story ideas
- Test hooks, formats and trends aimed at parents aged 25 to 45
- Review performance (views, saves, shares, inquiries) and recommend what to double down on
- Build an organized footage library we can reuse across ads, our website and parent communications

Who you are

- Currently studying film, media production, digital media, communications, journalism or a related program




- Confident shooting on camera or phone and editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve
- A storyteller who knows how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds
- Plugged into Instagram and TikTok trends
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable around young players and families
- Bonus: a love of soccer or sports media

Time commitment

- Adaptable, about 3 to 5 hours per week, built around your class schedule
- Weekday evenings
