Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Miniature Zamboni Operator (Pinguino)/Front Desk Attendant role based in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC. The role includes safely operating and maintaining the ice resurfacing machine, performing basic facility upkeep, and ensuring the ice surface is prepared according to schedule. The front desk responsibilities involve greeting athletes and families, managing check-ins and payments, answering phone inquiries, and supporting bookings for sessions and events.

The team member will help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. They will also be expected to assist with opening or closing procedures as needed.



Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is expected based on facility programming.

Qualifications

- No experience required for the miniature Zamboni (Pinguino)
- Customer service and communication abilities, including welcoming clients, answering questions clearly, and handling front desk interactions in a professional manner.
- Administrative and organizational skills, processing payments, maintaining records, and following established daily checklists.
- Attention to detail and reliability in maintaining ice quality, cleanliness of common areas, and readiness of the facility before and after sessions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced sports environment, with strong time-management skills.
- Comfort interacting with athletes, families, and coaches of diverse ages and backgrounds; prior experience in sports or recreation settings is an asset.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling systems and point-of-sale software.
- Availability for part-time shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays; previous Zamboni or rink operations experience is a strong plus, but training can be provided.
