Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at a Montana's BBQ & Bar in Dartmouth Crossing. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and opportunities for growth.

Duties

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system for sales transactions
- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Collaborate with the Managers and team to develop and execute plans for achieving sales targets

Experience:
- Previous experience in a busy,



service-oriented setting is required
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and providing excellent customer service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to recruit, train, and motivate employees
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems
- Exceptional communication skills
