Duties
- Safely pack items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment with care and precision
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move heavy or bulky items efficiently
- Assist with the organization and inventory management within the warehouse or storage areas
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate moving schedules and address any concerns
- Ensure all items are secured properly for transport, adhering to safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols in all work areas to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in moving, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Robust communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Experience with commercial driving or possessing a valid driver’s license is a plus
- Excellent physical stamina, flexibility, and attention to detail
