Duties

- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately, following strict protocols and safety guidelines
- Operate specialized nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process
- Monitor patients during procedures for any adverse reactions or discomfort, responding promptly as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, radiopharmaceuticals used, and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance




- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret images and provide comprehensive patient reports

Experience

- Proven experience working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or in a similar medical imaging role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety practices
- Familiarity with nuclear medicine procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
- Ability to operate advanced nuclear medicine imaging devices with precision and care
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or professional bodies in nuclear medicine technology
- A proactive attitude with the ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously
