We are seeking a dependable On Call Winter Property Maintenance Operator to assist with seasonal property upkeep and emergency response during the winter months at a property in Grand Bend, ON. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure properties are safe, functional, and aesthetically maintained. The position offers adaptable on-call hours, primarily during inclement weather or urgent situations, making it ideal for individuals with a background in construction, landscaping, or if your retired.
Candidates should be prepared to work outdoors in cold weather conditions and possess a strong work ethic to handle diverse property care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment
- Assist with snow plowing, salting, and de-icing walkways, driveways, and parking areas.
- Conduct general property inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Skills
- Experience operating heavy machinery preferred.
- Strong background in landscape maintenance and general property upkeep.
- Mechanical knowledge applicable to equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
- Flexibility to be on-call during winter months with quick response times.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor safely.
